what we need
We’re looking for an experienced Alliance Manager to play a critical role in growing our business by leveraging the power of our AWS alliance.
You will build and manage strategic relationships with key AWS teams and stakeholders, identify and develop joint go to market opportunities, and work collaboratively to drive new bookings and revenue growth. This is a fast-paced, results-oriented position that requires a strong understanding of both AWS and partner-based selling models.
about you
To be successful for the Alliance Manager role you will have a positive, determined and self-motivated attitude. You should have experience from a fast-paced tech centric environment, but also open minded and curious to learn more as you help to grow and develop our business. Excellent communication and relationship building skills at all levels is a must while also demonstrating an ability to work under pressure and juggle conflicting demands. You must be comfortable working in an environment where you are responsible for alliance driven revenue contributions to the business.

your responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of activities including:
- Execute and support the evolution of a comprehensive alliance strategy aligned with AWS and Daemon’s sustainable growth strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at AWS, including Partner Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Industry Specialists.
- Identify and qualify high-potential joint go to market opportunities that leverage the combined value proposition of our company and AWS.
- Collaborate with internal sales, account, marketing and practice teams to create compelling joint marketing campaigns and events, as well as go to market initiatives.
- Manage the entire lifecycle for joint opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partner engagement, pipeline generation, and revenue growth.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS offerings and partner programs.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with other relevant technology partners to expand our ecosystem.
You’ll report to our Head of Sales.
your experience
- Deep understanding of the AWS Partner Network (APN), partner programs, and the associated processes and mechanics e.g. ACE, MAP, tiers, competencies and certification management.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B technology sales, with a focus on cloud computing and/or partner-based selling.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quota achievement.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for cloud technology and a strong desire to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest trends.
who you’ll work with
Internally you’ll be assigned a mentor and buddy, to help with your experience. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Account and Marketing teams, as well as our AWS Alliance Lead and Consultants on client projects at all levels within the business.
